Welcome to TENNIS 101, in south Orange County, California, specializing in the finest of private and group
tennis instruction for adults and children. We invite you to peruse this site to learn more about the services that
we offer. On the following pages you will find a description of the private, semi-private and group tennis
instruction programs available, a background on the history of TENNIS 101, and it's owner, Greg Langdon, his
teaching philosophies and methodology, and ways to Contact Us to make an appointment.
You'll also find information on our specialty junior development program, Tennis Intensives, conceived out of
necessity to provide up-and-coming junior players with the opportunity to develop and hone their skills in
preparation for high school tennis and tournament play. Extended length classes and small numbers ensures
that students receive the attention that helps develop their skills in the most expedient manner, whether working
on fundamentals, or discussing match play strategy.
Already in it's 5th year, our subsidiary, OC Tennis Camps, has provided high-quality tennis camps to children of
all ages in Orange County. In 2010, our summer programming will be expanded to include a comprehensive
camp curriculum for juniors from 4 to 17 years of age. In addition to our Full-Day Camps, we are proud to offer
Mini-Day Camps for beginners in specific age groups. Building on our proud tradition of producing top quality
high school players, our brand-new concept for summer camps, Tennis Team Boot Camp, debuts this summer:
a camp for 12 - 17 year-olds preparing to tryout or play high school tennis.
In addition to our location in Aliso Viejo, we are proud to provide tennis instruction services to the City of Newport
Beach, at Mariners Park. Since January 2009, we have produced a full menu of programming which includes
Adult Level One and Level Two programs, very popular groups for Youth Level One and Level Two children, plus
a comprehensive summer and winter tennis camp program in conjunction with Camp Newport for students ages
