Tennis Intensives - Programs
It's all tennis....and it's intense!!!
|

'TENNIS INTENSIVES' and the Aliso Viejo Junior Development Program are programs tailored to provide an
intensive development curriculum for students wishing to learn tennis as a recreation, tryout for high school tennis
teams, or compete at tournament level.
The TENNIS INTENSIVES program is for juniors who have completed the Beginning and Intermediate levels of our
group lesson program, and are looking to advance their competitive skills. All have developed a substantial
repertoire of strokes and are hitting the ball harder and more consistently. It is open to juniors 11 years old and
over*. We do accept outside students if they have had a minimum of 12 months group instruction, or 6 months
private instruction, or have played some level of competitive tennis (view skill prerequisites here)
Each level focuses on learning, consolidating and perfecting basics of the game, learning and developing new
strokes, increasing fitness and stamina levels, developing and practicing new skills, and increasing knowledge of
singles and doubles match play tactics and strategies. Video analysis may be used to enhance development of
each player.
The entire program will be directed and instructed by USPTA-certified tennis professional, Greg Langdon,
